Restaurant Midori - Izakaya and Greenery
Midori is Japanese for green, like green is a choice in our decor of our cozy 1. floor restaurant, green is also a choice in our interpretation of the far-reaching and exciting izakaya kitchen.
Izakaya is the Japanese version of the Spanish tapas or Italian cicchetti; Accordingly a meal at Midori will typically consist of a variety of delicious smaller servings, small individual plates plus a number of sidedishes of your choice.
At Midori we will continuously change our menu according to the season's ingredients, and the changing whims of our head-chef Zhiqang.
Midori offers a wide range of hand-picked beer from small and large breweries, as well as a smaller but well-chosen wine selection, also a varied selection of organic juices and soft drinks.
Midori consist of 2 floors in an old townhouse in the oldest part of the inner city of Copenhagen.
From our first floor, food and drinks can be enjoyed overlooking charming Grønnegade / Ny Østergade, we are a small restaurant and we therefore recommend, that you book your table in advance.
We serve our dinner menu from 17-22 hrs.
